Unexpected Money and More

Unexpected Money and More

Last May, I was worrying about how to makes end meet. From my calculation, the money that I had then would not be enough to last until the next pay day which was 9 days away. Despite that, I decided to choose to believe that everything I need comes to me and that I have more than enough money for me to last until the next pay day. Every day, upon waking up, I give thanks for the money that I have and for the rest that are coming my way from expected and unexpected resources. Every time, negativity creeps in, I would try to focus and affirm that I am swimming in a sea of abundance and I choose to believe that I lack nothing and that everything is provided for me. All throughout the day, I would say my affirmation.

One day about 8 days away from pay day, I was so stressed out and worried about the money thats slowly diminishing by the day. I was trying to sleep during the day as I came from night duty but could not get the much needed sleep because of the anxiety. So I decided to do some affirmations about money issues. For 30 minutes, I did EFT for money issues and affirmed myself that I am worthy to deserve money. After that, I felt calm and I was able to sleep a few hours before reporting to work that night.

Incidentally, my long time friend whom I have not seen since 1992 informed me that she was arriving that weekend from Atlanta. She will stay at the Manila International Airport for a 4-hour lay over before her flight to her home town. My shift starts at 10pm and my friend arrives at 11pm. It will take her about an hour to go through immigration and to go to the next terminal for her next flight at 4am. I really wanted to see her even just for an hour. Good thing, the airport is just walking distance from where I work and I could be in the airport in 10-15 minutes, so during my break, I went to see her at the airport. As I was only out for a break, I bid her goodbye and thanked her for the precious time we had catching up with each other. She promised to see me again before going back to Atlanta after 2 weeks. Before I left the airport, she gave me a nice bag, a wallet, a USB flash drive, and a book. I was so grateful for all the things that she gave to me as for the last month or so. I had just been thinking and intending of buying all this stuff; however, due to financial constraints, those items were the last ones on my list. Now, just after about a month or so, all of those items are all in my hands, and I am so grateful!

Upon arriving at the office, I checked all the things that I received. I checked the wallet and lo and behold! There was a crisp $100 bill! In our country, $100 is equivalent to about Php 4600, more than enough to cover my expenses until the next pay day which is about 8 days away. Imagine my happiness that moment! I was grinning from ear to ear. I believed that everything I need comes to me and indeed it happened. I did not waiver in my belief and made the effort to get rid of negative thoughts. Just as I believed that I will have excess money from what I needed, it happened. It turned out that I was not able to spend the $100 that my friend gave me. Miraculously, the money that I originally had lasted until the next pay day.

Living in faith and practicing the law of attraction makes me stress-free, worry-free and happier. It really works. There is no reason why I wont believe that everything is possible. The more I live in faith and in a state of gratitude, the more I receive and manifest what I intend. Indeed, our universe is a sea of abundance, and we have a great God who delights in blessing us generously.

About Penchie

I am a type 2 diabetic. I run to keep my blood sugars in good control in conjunction with diet and medical regimen. The running bug got me in 2010. Since I laced up my running shoes, I’ve been an on-road runner, albeit with several months of hiatus in the last 2 years. After almost 7 years of on-road racing, like any other runner, I want to take my running into another level by going off road. I would like to see myself doing ultra marathons, both on and off road, in the future. Running is my lifestyle. I am a runner and a diabetes warrior.
